Imagine

Not many consider
imagining things on their own
wanting everything laid out
pain and healing
thought and feeling
clearly heard, felt and seen
left little or nearly none
to imagination, instead 
preferring to either
buy, borrow, rent or copy
senseless exchange of standards
deemed world worthy
failing to see eventually
things bought or borrowed 
however reliable for a while
always comes with an expiry
So, dear friend, don't be shy
to breathe a little imagination
into the world as
though the bought and borrowed
might help build 
a successful legacy
but it takes much imagination
to maintain one for eternity!
