On the ruins..

She was at it for hours
already onto the wee hours
of the day after, carving
wood, a chiseled figurine!

Inside her workshop, she sits
on a humongous pile, of her prior
oh-so-not-good attempts..

The task at hand, now done
she laughs "This ends yet another 
adventure on the ruins!

And I smile, aware of the fact
that, though the statue in hand
will, make the cut to the exhibit
Building it up, on the past failures
is what she takes pride in, the most!!
