Debate

Never been a fan of debates
I avoid them like a plague
Not that I don't have
unwavering opinions of my own
but detest pushing them on others
because truly I
never consider other opinions faulty
because surely they have
a backstory of their own,
reasons they exist as they do..
oblivious and unknown
how can I pretend to know more
and so
I did rather observe
a little more..
try to absorb more
than a little more..
I did rather be the person
carved by my opinions
and let others decide
if they wanna stick through
or leave and find another
someone who can do justice
to this concept called debate
coz to me
clearly the idea doesn't entice
I did rather collaborate than compete!
