Chasing Dreams

A solitary Night wintry frozen
Closing my eyes shut, seeing the unseen.
Dreams are dime a dozen, 
They swirl and spin
Making no sense whatsoever,
For the time being!
Forgotten eddies of defiance brazen 
Resurface at the very tips of eyelashes..
Only to disappear after momentary flashes,
Into the frosted tranquility!

Crack of dawn, is it?!
the first light, ushering warmth..
As the frozen calm thaws, unleashing
the eddies, Into an endless frenzy!
Opening my eyes just a crack 
I see the dreamy trails left,
Calling, tempting me to follow
"Get up! What are you waiting for?!"
There, now ! You won't want to
lose your dreams! Now, will you?"
